Mircea Abrudean is a Romanian politician who currently serves as the President of the Senate. He is a member of the National Liberal Party and a senator representing Cluj County. His career includes roles as the Prefect of Cluj County, Deputy Secretary General of the Government, and Head of the Prime Minister's Chancellery, where he coordinated Romania's accession to the OECD. He holds a bachelor's degree in International Relations and European Studies and a master's in Project Management.
